What do you do in your role?
As part of that team, I write software programs to render the realistic-looking materials that are unique to every film, like fur in Zootopia or water in Moana. The most satisfying aspect is to design software tools that achieve next-level realism as well as delivering art-directability, enabling the filmmakers to realize their vision, which is essential to our storytelling and unique aesthetic.
What brought you to Disney Animation?
Tangled! I don’t think I will ever get tired of it.
